The best way to upgrade your gear in Path of Exile is through item upgrades. This lets you enhance your gear without having to rely on expensive drops or trades. This article will show you how to upgrade your items efficiently.

Upgrading equipment grants an additional bonus to the item's base stats. This bonus scales with the upgrade component's level and rarity.

Components

Upgrade components are the items that make your weapons and armor more effective. They can be found by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma sellers or finding them in the form of item-spheres.
