All three were seen in tuxedos at the black-tie affair, which is a slight departure from earlier in the day, when White spoke at Trump's 'Make America Great Again Victory Rally' at the Capital One Arena.

'The UFC just aren't into it,' McGregor said. 'The offer was there on the table, in writing, both athletes we'll say—he's not a fighter—but whatever, both athletes under the TKO banner. UFC, WWE, both rising up.

White and Trump's fondness for each other is no secret. Trump has tapped the UFC President and CEO to speak for him at the last three Republican National Conventions, leading many to wonder if he'd serve a greater role in the White House at some point.

'The films of Dana Plays'

'He would have potentially considered it to be done if it wasn't Logan, but Dana's hate for Jake is the fuel that was needed to instantly say no. Dana doesn't want the Paul brothers to benefit financially ever if it takes away from his own bottom line.'

And while many would assume the UFC's decision to reject the exhibition is due to their desire to see McGregor back in an Octagon, DailyMail.com understands that White's deep dislike for Logan's younger brother is the reason it isn't happening.

'And for Dana's part, he thinks Jake is making the world of boxing a complete joke. He hates the popularity Jake has received. Dana hated the Tyson fight and just hates everything Jake has given boxing. Dana thinks it is a complete joke.'

The former two-weight UFC champion claimed both he and Logan, who enjoyed an exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in 2021, were ready to fight under the TKO banner, which oversees both the UFC and WWE, before the UFC pulled the plug.

'Donald Trump is one of my very good friends,' White told Sports Business Journal through a spokesperson. 'He did a great job in his last term as president, and I know he will do an even better job the next four years. I have no personal political aspirations.'

'The stock price of TKO Holding Group through the roof. New market in India opened up and booming. It was business savvy and business sense to make the fight happen, or should I say, the glorified spar happen.'

As the 44th President, who arrived at the ceremony without wife Michelle Obama after she decided to snub the inauguration, entered the Capitol Rotunda, he greeted the Bushes directly in front of White.

'Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon,' Trump's long-time supporter and friend began. 'I am honored to be here to celebrate President Trump's historic victory. He didn't just win this election. He won it in dominant fashion with record numbers of Americans from all walks of life.'

'The fate of this country is tied to the fate of the President, so if you love America, you should want America's President to be successful,' he said. 'If he strengthens our economy, resolves conflict around the world, and makes our streets safe again, we all win.'

'Think about this, winning this election after everything that's happened over the last few years is an amazing achievement and an incredible comeback story,' White said. 'Think of all the things President Trump had to go through to get back here, all the powerful forces that tried to take him down: the mainstream media, partisan prosecutors, assassins.

The UFC president took pride of place among the flock of tech titans and media moguls who descended on Washington DC to witness the second swearing in of Trump as the 47th President of the United States.

'Not only did he win the electoral college by 86 points, but President Trump was the first Republican candidate in 20 years to win the popular vote,' White continued. 'He also made tremendous gains among traditional Democrat voters by increasing his support with Latin, Asian-American, black and young voters.

'I say this all the time: He is the toughest, most resilient person that I have ever met. And nothing was going to stop him from fighting so hard for the country he loves. He embodies what being an American is all about. We are the toughest, most resilient people on earth. And nothing can stop us when we unite.'

The 55-year-old was seated in the row behind former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State and Trump's past political nemesis Hillary Clinton, and former first lady Laura Bush during the indoor ceremony at the Capitol Building.
