To preserve a safe and positive experience on Telegram, the messaging app provides various features that enable users to block other users who have been spamming.

Blocking a user on Telegram means that the user will no longer be able to contact you directly. You can also be assured that the person you block will not be able to see when you are online. To block a user, follow these steps, open Telegram, switch to the chat list with the user you want to block, and tap the name of the user at the top of the screen. Then, go to the menu, select 'Options', and pick 'Remove' from the list of options that appear.

Alternatively, you can also block a user from the contact list by finding the chat, double tapping on it to bring up the menu. Swipe up and enter 'Block'.
