July 15 (Reuters) - Carrefour said on Monday it had entered into a partnership with French renewable energy company GreenYellow for the installation and operation of solar panels in the car parks of around 350 of its hypermarkets and https://rummyeast1.in/ supermarkets in France.
Under the agreement, GreenYellow will finance the photovoltaic production equipment that are expected to generate about 450 GWh of electricity per year, covering around 20% of Carrefour stores' power demand, the French retailer said in a statement.
GreenYellow currently has 1,320 solar plants installed or under construction, according to data published on its website.
